Seeded will be hosting an event from 10am to 4pm, including festive tunes from Portsmouth City Band from 10am to 12pm.
Alexsis Seed, of the store, said: "It's really important for us as a small independent business to get involved each year. It's also a great opportunity for us to engage with our customers and the wider community to speak to them about what the Seeded creative community is about, over a mince pie and mulled apple juice."
Southsea Bathing Hut will be trading at the Love Southsea Market on Palmerston Road, and running a special offer for Saturday only. Any customer at the market who quotes "Small Business Saturday" will receive a free travel-size artisan soap bar with any purchase they make.
To help support the event, Portsmouth City Council is offering free parking all day on 2 December, at:
- Wootton Street car park, Cosham
- London Road car park, Cosham
- Stubbington Avenue car park, North End
- Ashby Place car park, Southsea
- Clarence Street car park in the city centre
Cllr Donna Jones, Leader of the Council, said: "We're backing Small Business Saturday because we know the value of local independent companies. They add character and colour to our shopping streets and they're a crucial part of the city's economy."
